Fundraising

LSASC is a not-for-profit organisation. Our goal is to make swimming accessible and sustainable for children of all ages and abilities across Leamington, Warwick and the surrounding area – from learn to swim classes to an extremely successful, competitive swimming squad at county, regional, and national level.

Our club is run by a passionate group volunteers and coaches, and we rely heavily on fundraising to help us achieve our goal. Fundraising enables us to purchase new equipment such as the diving blocks at Newbold Comyn swimming pool and specialist training sessions amongst other things – whatever is needed to help our swimmers, and our club reach their full potential. In short, it ensures the long-term viability of the club, and secures a bright future for all our aspiring swimmers.

How you can help

Raising money

You can support the club in a variety of ways – raising money through an activity like a 10k run, a marathon, or for the fearless, perhaps a skydive?! Or something more simple like a straightforward financial donation. We are always extremely grateful for any support, it all makes a difference.

Kit donations

You can also support us by donating your unwanted swim kit to help us raise money for the club. Whether that’s club branded clothing, or kick board, pull buoys, or fins – we can take it off your hands, give it a new home, and raise money!

Just please make sure it has been washed and put it in a bag, clearly labelled with its description and size.

Kit donations can be dropped off at Newbold Comyn most Sundays between during our learn to swim lessons. Please text 07919172112 to confirm your kit drop off slot.

Business partners & sponsors

We are lucky to have lots of wonderful businesses local to the club – if you would like to become a business sponsor, know a business that would, or would like to find out a little bit more, then please get in touch with the fundraising team by emailing fundraising@swimleamington.org

As well as financial donations, the club also really welcomes any donations of prizes or gifts that can be included in our raffles which are held during our many events throughout the year. We are always happy to shine a spotlight and publicise those businesses that support us.

Easyfundraising is a simple and effective way to raise money for LSASC while doing your everyday online shopping. By downloading the Easyfundraising browser extension and purchasing through a partner website, the funds can really stack up.

For example, booking a family holiday through Booking.com can earn the club up to £40 per £1,000 spent! If you purchase insurance via Money Supermarket, GoCompare or Compare the Market, you can earn the club up to £19.

What makes Easyfundraising particularly powerful is how quickly small individual contributions can accumulate into significant sums for the club. If just 50 families each raised £20 per year through their regular online shopping, that would generate £1,000 annually for LSASC – enough to purchase essential training equipment or contribute towards pool hire costs. The beauty of the system is that it requires no extra effort once you've installed the browser reminder or mobile app, and every purchase you were going to make anyway becomes a donation to help our swimmers achieve their goals.
